The situation
A large Mac fleet needed to move off JumpCloud and onto Jamf Pro, without disrupting how IT already managed devices day to day.
What I did
I ran it in three phases: a proof-of-concept on a small pilot group (which included piloting Okta Platform SSO), a preparation phase rebuilding policies and enrollment around Jamf Blueprints and Setup Manager, and then a staged rollout across the rest of the fleet.
Where it stands
Preparation ran several months before the fleet-wide rollout started. The migration is live now, with identity modernized through Okta as the IdP via Jamf Connect and Platform SSO.
I'll follow up with more detail, and probably a screenshot or two, once the rollout is fully wrapped.
